Dog Gone Campus

If a student goes to visit their professors during office hours, they might find a wet nose and a wagging tail greeting them.

Many professors bring their dogs to campus and can be seen walking them through the quad or the halls of the science building.

No one is quite sure what has led to the canine proliferation on campus, but it may have something to do with the prime dog-walking territory and receptive students.

What do Germans and lingerie have in common? The answer is Whittier College Theater's Production of The Underpants, directed by Assistant Professor of Theater and Communication Arts Gil Gonzalez. The play, originally written by German playwright Carl Sternheim and later adapted by Steve Martin, is a clever story that features an intriguing study of instant fame, politics and fidelity.
