Sophomore Living Learning Community to be housed in Harris C top level this fall

Area Cordinator Tiffany Bogue and Dean of First-year Students Lisa Bortman have confirmed the proposed location of the Sophomore Living Learning Community as the second level of Harris C. If this idea becomes reality, it will be Whittier College's first sophomore LLC.

A meeting was held on Feb. 19 to inform students about Whittier College housekeepers and their relationship with Sodexo, a global leading company in facilities management services. The meeting served to make students aware that the issues with Sodexo pertain to workers in other states and not only Whittier College.

Outdoor spring events require power, extension cords pose danger

With a number of outdoor events taking place on campus each year, Director of LEAP Rick Clark is looking into the possibility of purchasing a power generator for use at Whittier events and by student groups. This spring semester, students can anticipate a number of events located outdoors including MarTGras, Penntronic, Snow Jams, Psychedlic Circus and Holi-day, which will all be held in the Upper Quad.
